When Do Payments Start?

- The SASSA Gold Card can be used at ATMs or any retail outlet.
- Direct Bank Deposit means the recipient will get the funds placed directly into his/ her bank account.
- Retail Partners Pick n Pay, Shoprite, Boxer, Checkers, and Spar outlets allow for safe withdrawals and in-store purchases.
Remember, the money stays in the account until withdrawn by the owner. So, no need to rush on the first day, causing long queues.
