More stable weather is anticipated for the next few days after unsettled weather in recent times. Communities bordering KwaZulu-Natal in the north and west, in huge portions of North West and Free State, and parts of Northern Cape are faced with very high fire risk. - Gauteng : Warm and mostly sunny, some cloud building over the southern parts late into the afternoon.
- Mpumalanga and Limpopo : Some morning patches of fog will be experienced near the escarpment, but should clear to fine and warm weather by midday.
- North West and Free State : Warm day with light winds; near Lesotho, however, it may be cooler.
- Northern Cape : Partly cloudy, stronger southeasterly winds develop along the coast into the afternoon.
- Western Cape : Cloudy at first, particularly over the coast, becoming partly sunny and crisp in the afternoons.
- Eastern Cape : The clouds clear over western areas towards the afternoon, with light rain developing along the coasts.
- KwaZulu-Natal : Early hours of fog inland; warm otherwise, with some evening showers near the coast.
