How To Check If Your Grant Is Suspended
To know your status if you did not receive the August 2025 payment:
- Visit the SASSA SRD website or open the Moya app to check your grant status.
- Dial the USSD code *120*3210# to check application and payment status.
- Call the toll-free SASSA number (0800 60 10 11) to speak with an agent.
- Check your SMS: SASSA might send you a notification that your grant has been suspended.
What must be done is speedily getting the payment into the account as soon as it does not appear.
Appealing A Suspended Grant
You may appeal if your grant was unfairly stopped. Should any of the following apply to you, then:
- Lodge your appeal online on the SASSA SRD portal under the appeal option.
- Include evidence of unemployment, updated ID copies, or bank statements.
- Verify your details again to ensure SASSA has the correct information on your personal and financial situation.
